Dr. Shanytel Weathersby-Cook, DNP, APRN, FNP-C

​

Dr. Shanytel Weathersby-Cook is a Doctor of Nursing Practice Family Nurse Practitioner, that was born in McComb, Mississippi, but raised in Liberty, Mississippi.  She relocated to Chandler, Arizona from Memphis, Tennessee in 2017.  She has a passion and desire for educating communities about health and wellness.  She has enjoyed varies life changing experiences in her personal and professional career with her most recent life changing experiences to include marrying her best friend, becoming the grandmother of two handsome boys, and opening a medical clinic.  Dr. Cook is the founder, owner, and chief operating officer of NurseDoc, PLLC.

Dr. Cook began her nursing career as a Certified Nurse Assistant in 2000, then she progressed her professional career to becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse in 2001.  She graduated as an Associate degree Registered Nurse in 2006, a Bachelor of Science degree Registered Nurse in 2011, a Master's prepared Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Practitioner in 2013, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice Family Nurse Practitioner in 2017.

As a family nurse practitioner, she is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating, and educating populations (infant, toddler, early childhood, teenager, young adult, and the older adult) about health and wellness.  Dr. Cook evaluates, monitors, and assists in formulating treatment plans that will help assist patients in achieving healthcare goals.

She has made a difference in the lives of her patients and their family members by utilizing thorough communication techniques, providing reliable and concise educational materials, and providing an innovative healthcare experience during each encounter.  Her determination and tenacity for patient wellness is a valuable asset in healthcare.
